Durga Puja celebration at Kamakhya temple

GUWAHATI, Sept 23:  The Durga Puja will be celebrated in Kamakhya temple atop Nilachal Hill of the city from tomorrow with a 15-day programme. Sources of the Temple authorities said that the timing of opening of temple door have been slightly changed in view of the celebration of the puja. Accordingly, the door of the temple will be opened at 9 am and will be closed after sunset during the period from September 24 to 30. Similarly, the door will be opened at 9 am and it will be shut down at 4 pm during October 1 to October 7.  On October 8, door will be open for visitor at 10 and will be closed at 4 pm and on October 9 temple door will be opened at 11 am and will be shut down at 2 pm. On the other on October 10 the time of door opening is 11 am and closing time is 4 pm. The opening time of door on October 11 is 9 am and the door will be closed after sunset on that day.
