Dutta works for a political party: KMSS

GUWAHATI, Jan 12: KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi today said that his ‘former’ teacher Prof. Deven Dutta was working for a special political party. “The politics he does isn’t good for the people of the State. He was my teacher, but he hasn’t been able to criticize me properly. I appeal to him to come to my office and discuss his allegations against me,” he said. Meanwhile, the KMSS leader said that the commercialization of Bhogali Bihu does not augur well for the State and its people. “Bhogali is a Bihu of farmers, and as such it shouldn’t be commercialized. The TV channels in the State show Bihu dances by women in the season of Bhogali. This is not just,” the KMSS leader said.
