DYFI protests price rise

GUWAHATI, Sept 24: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) had organized a demonstration on the banks of Dighalipukhuri on Saturday demanding immediate curbing of price rise.  In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister through the Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup Metro, the DYFI asked the Government to take immediate steps to curb the price rise of essential commodities.

They also demanded provincialization of venture institutions.  The DYFI in the memorandum also urged the CM for proper implementation of the Food Security Act in the state.

They also demanded expansion of B.Ed colleges in the state.
