Education fair held in city

GUWAHATI, June 1: The 15th edition of Northeast India’s biggest education fair—Edu-Options was held with three-day prgramme at TRP Indoor Stadium here from May 29 to 31, a press release said.

With the class 12th results out, this fair came at an opportune time for students and parents alike to look at their options of study as they have their marks.

Amongst the highlights of this year’s exhibition is a stall by HT Campus where students got guidance on a step by step process of admissions into Delhi University. A major chunk of students try for admissions into Delhi University and this counselling process by experts helped them go about the process in a much more informed manner.

Another highlight of this year’s exhibition was a stall by the British Council which conducted an information session on ‘Studying in the UK’. Students looking for undergraduate, post graduate as well as PHDs in the UK got all their questions answered about admissions, visas, scholarships etc at this session.

India’s most popular institutions like Amity University, RV College Bangalore, NITTE University, OP Jindal University are amongst the many universities that were present at the exhibition. Students from all streams—science, commerce and humanities—were provided information on career options on over 300 courses at the fair.
