Elect only eligible candidates: YBA

GUWAHATI, March 18: The Yuba Bharat, Assam (YBA) has appealed to the people of the State to elect only eligible candidates of eligible political parties in the coming Assembly election. Talking to newsmen in Dispur Press Club today, YBA state Pravary Rajib Choudhury said: “We have seen the pace of development and corruption in the last 15 years in the State. In the State we have also seen the problems that have not been solved as yet. However, some political parties have tried to show their success through banners and posters about development and belief. We, therefore, appeal to the people of the state to understand first what development is and then decide who they should vote. This will help them select some eligible candidates to form a corruption-free and progressive government.”
