Elephant damages 3 houses

AZARA, Jan 23: A wild elephant damaged three houses in the Chakardou area under Azara police station today. While one of the three houses is of one Prabin Kalita, two are of Nirala Kalita. According to the local people, the elephant sustained injuries in one of its legs and it cannot see by one of its eyes. The pachyderm was driven away to the jungle by Forest personnel.
