'Emulate Madhavdev'

Sankardev and Madavdev united our land and gave rise to a common cultural milieu”. On the occasion of Madhavdev’s birth anniversary “we should all reiterate to strengthen our composite culture on the ideals of these great saints”. Because of the role of the two apostles, Ekasaran Dharma, which played pivotal role of the Assamese literature, became so famous all over. The Governor also wished the people of Assam on the occasion of Mahapurush Madhavdev’s birth anniversary and appealed to the people belonging to all sections to lend their hands to fortify the edifice of Assam which was formed under the influences of Mahapurush Sankardev and Madhavdev.
