GUWAHATI, August 7: As if to put an end to the 15-year-od legacy of political appointment in the corporations and boards in the State apparently with a view to rehabilitating aggrieved politicians, the new BJP-led government at Dispur has shown the path this time around by appointing senior IAS officer VS Bhaskar as the Chairman of Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC).
