EPFO launches 'PF Near You' programme

GUWAHATI, Dec 11:  The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has started its ‘PF Near You’ programme from July this year with the intention to receive complaints/grievances/suggestions from PF members/employers and to dedicate one day every month. The day chosen is 10th instant of every month, and if any 10th instant of a month happens to be a holiday, the programme shall be conducted on the next working day. The allotted time for receipt and disposal of grievances are 10.30 am to I pm for subscribers/PF members, 3 pm to 4 pm for employees and 4 pm to 5 pm for exempted establishments at EPFO regiol office at Bangagarh in the city.  One such ‘PF Near You’ programme was held on December 10, 2015 when 28 grievances were received and redressed.
