In Guwahati also the ESIC pharmacists of the model hospital in the city have been staging the agitation since May 2. They come to their duty wearing black badges. From May 23 to 27, they will stage a dhar in front of their Superintendent during the tiffin time without creating any problem for patients. On June 13, they will stage a dhar in front of ESIC headquarters in Delhi throughout the day.  Their demands include formation of proper cadre structure for pharmacists, payment of PCA and HPCA to all pharmacists, stopping the deduction of allowance by posting and diversion to SSMC office, etc.
