Essay contest on child rights

Guwahati, Sept 1:  City based organization Anwesha is going to organize the Knowledge Festival for Children from October 9 to 15 this year at AEI field, Chandmari here. This time the festival will be jointly held by Anwesha and State Society for Child Protection in collaboration with the UNICEF, the organization said in a statement.  As a part of the festival, an easy writing competition on “Child Rights and Child Protection” will be organized among the children of classes VI to VIII in Assamese and English.  The length of the easy must not exceed more than 600 words. The best three entries each in Assamese and English will be awarded and depending on the quality the essays may also be printed for mass circulation.
