Exchange of views among IAS officers

GUWAHATI, July 30: The IAS officers of Kamrup(M) district exchanged their views with their counterparts from six States and let them know details of functioning of the autonomous councils under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution in the State – Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC) and the BTC. As many as 20 IAS officers from Kartaka, Kerala, Tamil du, Maharashtra, Harya and Madhya Pradesh were present in the programme. From Kamrup (M) District Development Commissioner Barli Sarma, Kamrup(M) Sadar SDO Chinmay Prakash Phukan and others were present. The visiting IAS officers then visited Kamakhya Temple.
