Excise interim report submitted

GUWAHATI, Dec 9: Dispur did form a committee headed by retired IAS officer RT Jindal in order to suggest ways to check loopholes in Excise tax collection, to see as to how IMFL is made from E, putting an end to illicit liquor, branding a heritage liquor of the State etc., as promised in the Budget speech. The committee submitted its interim report to State Excise Minister Parimal Shuklabaidya today. Shukladaidya said that the fil report would be submitted within seven days. "It will be placed in the next Cabinet meeting," he said.
