Extension of Home Guard volunteers' term

GUWAHATI, Oct 31: The Directorate of Home Guard and Civil Defence has announced that the home guard volunteers below 55 years and those who worked for three years consecutively can work for a term of another three years if they wish. However, for this the candidates will have to submit their prescribed forms filled-in by November 15 to the respective District Commandants of Civil Defence and Home Guard.
