Fincial Literacy Week underway

GUWAHATI, June 6: With a view to focusing certain key messages regarding fince by reaching out to the people and with an objective to improve fincial behaviour, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) launched Fincial Literacy Week today. RBI Regiol Director for the North Eastern states B K Mishra iugurated the Fincial Literacy Week on RBI premises in the city. Various banks take up efforts for fincial literacy and awareness. This year RBI has selected themes like KYC, exercising credit discipline, grievance redressal and going digital in line with the prevailing economic environment. To reach out to the common man messages are being delivered through posters in bank branches, ATMs and websites of banks.  The iugural session was attended by the controlling heads of all major banks in the city.
