Fire at 15 Mile

DIMORIA, June 30: Kamakhya Power Solution, a battery repairing factory located at 15 Mile near Jorabat, was gutted this afternoon. Property worth Rs 50 lakh is claimed to have been damaged by the fire. Sources said that despite information, the fire service and police personnel from Sopur did not respond even after an hour. Fire service personnel from Byrnihat in Meghalaya, however, responded early and doused the fire. Sources said that had the fire service from Sopur responded on time, the damage could have been minimized.
