Fire at Paltan Bazar

GUWAHATI, Oct 29: Goods worth lakhs of rupees were gutted in a fire that broke out at the godown of RL Industries at AT Road, Paltan Bazar today. The godown had plastic chairs, mattresses and other items stored in it. Since the fire brigade was quite nearby, fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. In another incident, a house was charred into ashes at Dwarkagar in the city this evening.
