GUWAHATI, March 15: Three shops in the Bashistha Ashram premises were gutted this morning. The fire origited from a flame in a shop and the fire took no time to spread to the two neighbouring shops. Two fire tenders rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire with the help of the local people. Property worth Rs 70,000 was destroyed in the fire.
