Fire in city - 26 Oct, 2015

GUWAHATI, Oct 25: Footwear and blanket worth crores of rupees were burnt into ashes last night when the second and the third floors of a three-storeyed godown caught fire in the Lalungaon area in the city last night. Twenty fire tenders, two hydraulic vehicles and a few fire tenders from OIL had to fight for five hours to bring the fire under control. However, the fire broke out afresh this morning. Fire tenders had to rush to the spot afresh this morning.
