Five students of Sudarshan among top 20

GUWAHATI, May 31: Sudarshan Public School, Khapara in the city broke its own record when five of its students made it to the top 20 ranks in the HSLC examition, the results of which were declared by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) today. Earlier in 2014, one student of the school had made it to the top ten ranks.    

The five meritorious students of the school are Rajdeep th (4th), Kaustavmoni Saikia (8th), Md. Sarwar Ahmed (14th), Mayukh th (16th) and Mas Pratim Chaliha (18th).

Rajdeep was hopeful of making it to the top 20 even before taking the examition. He wants to be a doctor. He is fond of reading detective novel.

Kaushtav Moni Saikia is an elated youth for making it to the merit list. He had to read eight to ten hours a day. He wants to work in the World Health Organization (WHO).

Mayuk th did expect to get a rank. He has an aim to undergo aeroutic engineering.

Mas Pratim Chaliha wants to give the credit of his success to his parents. He wants to be an engineer.

Meanwhile, the Principal of the school, Syeda Mukid, said: “Our results are beyond expectations. As many as 117 of the 137 students who took to the HSLC examition this year passed in first division and the remaining 20 students passed in second division. Each and every teacher keeping in touch with the students persolly is the key to the success.”
