Flood threat to Guwahati

GUWAHATI, July 12: The Brahmaputra is going 0.33 metre above the danger level in Guwahati, posing a threat to the city. With erosion threat and rains continuing in the State, the situation may worsen. The water of the masculine river at 4 pm on Wednesday was 50.01 metres against the danger level of 49.68 metres.
