Forest minister convoy involved in road mishap

MIRZA, Sept 25: The pilot car of Forest Minister Pramila Rani Brahma met with a accident at Bangra under Palashbari Police Station on Sunday. Police sources informed that the convoy was on its way to Guwahati. “The incident occurred when the pilot car (AS-01-AM-7765) of the Forest Minister’s convoy tried to save a cow and hit a TATA magic (AS-25-BC-1157) travelling from Guwahati to Mirza. Eight passengers of the magic were injured and were admitted at the Mirza Primary Health Centre (PHC). The driver of the pilot car and PSO were also injured and both were admitted at the Azara hospital,” stated the police source. The minister convoy left for Guwahati after taking stock of the incident further stated the police source.
