Former minister no more

GUWAHATI, February 16: Former Assam minister Akon Rabha (62) passed away at his Rongjuli residence in Goalpara district today. He died of liver trouble. He was a two-time MLA from Dudhnoi on AGP ticket and minister in both the terms. AGP president Atul Bora, former Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahta, AGPLP leader Phani Bhushan Choudhury and other AGP leaders condoled the death of Rabha. An AGP team went to Dudhnoi to take part in the funeral of the departed leader.
