Four DIPR scam accused still at large

GUWAHATI, Nov 13: Four accused of the multi-crore-rupee ‘Vision Assam, Mission Assam’ scam, who were summoned by the Chief Minister’s Special Vigilance Cell, are still at large. They are yet to appear before the Cell that summoned them. The Special Vigilance Cell summoned Brahmaputra Television Network proprietors Rajib Bora and Anja Bora, Delta Publicity proprietor Dilip Kalita and Pradip Advertising proprietor Apurba Lahkar for their alleged involvement in the Rs 32-crore scam to appear before it on November 10. None of them, however, has appeared before the cell as yet. Rajib Bora and Anja Bora, however, sent a letter to the Cell stating that they failed to appear before it for health reasons. The other accused, DIPR Ranjit Gogoi, is in judicial custody now.
