Four injured in two accidents

GUWAHATI, April 16: Four youths were injured in two separate accidents in the city last night. The first accident occurred near Gurukul Grammar School at Geeta gar where a youth on a bike (AS01BH7518) and his pillion rider hit the divider around 1.30 mid-night. Jayanta Kumar (22) was on the bike and the pillion rider was Mril Sarma. Both of them sustained injuries, and they are under treatment at the GMCH. The condition of Mril is stated to be critical.

The other accident occurred near Noonmati where a bike (AS01AJ1063) from Chandmari side had a head-on collision with an autovan (AS21C2424) coming from the opposite side near Noonmati police station a 3 am last night. Ganesh Shah and Arjun Roy of the bike were injured in the accident.
