Fraud doctor arrested in GMCH

GUWAHATI, Aug 31: A fraud doctor was arrested in the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Tuesday night. Police sources revealed that one Pranjal Bhagawati, a resident of Belsore in lbari district, was arrested when he threatened security guards at the GMCH and tried to enter the hospital forcibly identifying himself as a doctor. On being informed, police arrested Bhagawati. However, he escaped from the police custody soon after his arrest. He was, however, arrested again, the sources said.
