Free health camp to benefit flood-hit

GUWAHATI, July 29: A free health check-up camp was held at Chandrapur in the city on Saturday. The camp was organized by the Fire and Emergency Service and Home guard and Civil Defense. It was opened by Home Guard and Civil Defense and Fire and Emergency Service Director AP Rawat. He said that the camp would help flood-affected people to a great extent. He laid stress on bringing awareness on post-flood ailments. Over 300 people who attended the camp got medicines free of cost. A ceiling fan and a filter were given to Silghor Primary School where the camp was held. Home Guard and Civil Defense Additiol DGP BK Mishra and others were present also on the occasion.
