Free health check-up camp

Guwahati, March 30: NEPNI School of Nursing, a unit of NEPNI Trust, conducted a free health check-up camp at Guwahati Blind High School in Basistha. Free heath check-up was provided to the blind students by a team of four doctors including Dr. Syed Burhanuddin, chairman of NEPNI Trust. About 75 blind students from age group 5-15 years were treated. Medicines were also distributed free of cost.

The chief guest of the function was noted actor and chairman of Jyoti Chitraban Film studio Nipon Goswami. Goswami in his speech expressed his deep appreciation for NEPNI Trust, which came out for such a noble cause and offered help to the blind students. Bhaben Barman, headmaster of the Guwahati Blind School also extended his gratitude and heartfelt thanks to NEPNI Trust for taking such an initiative.

Babul Ali, executive president of NEPNI Trust, Khursida Begum, trustee member of NEPNI, along with the entire staff and students of NEPNI contributed equally to make the health camp a successful one.

NEPNI Trust also organized breakfast and lunch for all the staff and students of the Blind School.
