Free medical service by CRPF

DIMORIA, Dec 19: The 128th battalion of the CRPF today organized a free medical and health check-up camp under its civic action programme at Barkhat near Sopur, Kamrup (M) district.

Battalion Commandant Surjit Kumar Atri iugurated the camp and addressed the august gathering elaborating importance of civic action programme. He also explained that these programme are organized by the battalion for the welfare of society and to instill confidence among masses. He encouraged people to take benefits of the camp in full.

The doctors present at the camp examined patients suffering from cold and cough, fever, stomach pain and other problems. They also distributed medicines free of cost.

The public of the area lauded the CRPF for its efforts. The battalion commandant further assured them of renovating an MP School at Noonmati at Morigaon under its civic action programme.
