Furce oil seized; five held

GUWAHATI, March 16: A team of city police seized at least 45 drums of adulterated furce oil at lapara under Basistha police station of the city on Thursday and arrested five people in this connection. Police sources the accused were involving in the illegal business for the last several months in collusion with tanker lorry drivers and agents. The arrested accuseds have been identified as Monoj Das, Rono Kr Singh, Raj Kr Singh, Deepak Kr Singh and Satish Kr Singh.
