Gorchuk police seized a truck (DL1GC1280) bound for Pat at Gorchuk on Monday. The zinger-laden truck, believed to have entered Guwahati from the Meghalaya side, had 98 packets of ganja weighing around 7.84 quintals concealed under sacs of zinger. Though the driver of the truck has been arrested, the kingpin is still at large. Search is on to arrest him. The market value of the contraband is around Rs 35 lakh.
