Gastro Endoscopy training

GUWAHATI, May 7: Medical Council of India (MCI) president Dr Jayshree Mehta today iugurated the first Gastro Endoscopy training-cum-fellowship course for eastern India at Swagat Superspeciality Hospital in the city.

The three-day course was organized for surgeons under the aegis of Indian Association of Gastro Intestil Endosurgeons. Over 70 surgeons from different parts of the country are taking part in the training.

The iugural ceremony was also attended by MCI secretary Dr. Ree yyar, Prof U.C. Sharma and others.

MCI Prof. Subhash Khan said that the event is a new initiative of the association to train surgeons of different parts of the country in gastrointestil endoscopy.
