GCC golden jubilee committee formed

GUWAHATI, April 26: Gauhati Commerce College Boys’ Hostel has successfully completed its fiftieth year of glorious service. A programme was organized on April 24 in the hostel campus where more than 100 former borders of the hostel took part. The programme 11 am with the hoisting of the flag by Prof. Kalyan Kumar th, the former Principal of the college as well as former superintendent of the hostel. It was followed by swahid tarpan at 11.05 am, lighting of lamp etc.

In his welcome address, the principal of the college, Dr. Homeswar Kalita described the horrible condition of the hostel. He said that much development was taken place after he joined the college as its principal.

Meanwhile, the Gauhati Commerce College Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee was constituted with a core committee and several sub-committees.
