Gita Anweshan released

Guwahati, July 14: A book titled Gita Anweshan, an alytical exploration of the theology and philosophy of Bhagavat Gita, along with its inception, relevance in the present age and definition of important terms, was released at the Vivekanda Kendra on Tuesday. It was released by eminent Sanskrit scholar and retd GU Professor Dr Ashok Goswami. Distinguished educationist and former GU RegistrarMahesh Bhuyan iugurated the function, which was presided over by litterateur, critic, and retd IAS officer Lalit Kumar Baruah. Renowned economist Dr Jayanta Madhav graced the function as Distinguished Guest. The book has been authored by retd Principal of JB College and its Philosophy department Head Dr Anja Chaliha who has written several semil treatises on philosophy and theology.
