GMC fed up with vendors!

GUWAHATI, Nov 17: After evicting vendors from Guwahati footpaths many times, Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) is fed up with the problem still far from being solved. GMC sources said that every time they evacuate the footpaths occupied by the vendors, after just a few days, they come again and occupy footpaths. There are many places like Ganeshguri, Manipuri Basti, Paltan Bazar etc., from where it seems impossible for them to get rid of vendors. They also say that when they provide permanent places for selling their items, they still do not leave the footpaths.
