GMC to launch trade license renewal drive

Guwahati, May 7: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation will soon launch a door-to-door drive to renew licenses of business establishments in the city. The GMC has asked the traders to furnish clearance proof of holding tax and other taxes levied by the GMC. The fee for trade license renewal has been hikes from Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,750, which includes charges for garbage disposal.
