Gogoi's bid to turn darling of employees

GUWAHATI, March 10: The employees in Assam are an elated lot with the annual Budget proposing to make the 7th Pay Commission effective in fiscal 2015-16. Sadou Asam Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) secretary general gen Das hailed the proposal and hoped that the proposal would be translated into a reality by the government.

The state employees and retired ones have more news to celebrate as the Budget proposed a special health scheme for them. Das also hailed the Chief Minister for the scheme. Das also praised the government for the proposal of two years leave in phases for women employees for the upbringing of their children
