Goria-Moria body stages demonstration

GUWAHATI, March 3: The Sadou Asom Goria-Moria-Deshi Jatiya Parishad (SAGMDJP) burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi at various places protesting against Gogoi’s failure to meet their demands. Addressing the media at Dispur Press Club, SAGMDJP president Hafijul Ahmed said, “Since the independence, the Congress governmnet has cheated us in the me of Goria Development Council, which they assured us in 2006. Even Gogoi also assured in 2015 to form the council very soon.
