Governor condoles death of litterateur

GUWAHATI, July 25: Assam Governor Banwarilal Purohit condoled the death of eminent litterateur Sada Saikia who died on Monday. In a condolence message on Tuesday, Purohit while expressing his condolence, said that with his death the state has lost a litterateur and jourlist per excellence. He left behind a legacy of his works which would continue to be a source of inspiration for the present and upcoming generations in the State. He expressed his empathy with the bereaved family members and prayed to God for eterl peace of the departed soul.
