GU to get 24x7 digital classroom

GUWAHATI, Aug 17: Gauhati University will soon get 24x7 digital classrooms. Addressing the iugural function of the Entrepreneurship Development Programme at Gauhati University here today, State Science and Technology Minister Keshab Mahanta said this. Mahanta said that the digital classrooms at the university campus would be iugurated very soon. Mahanta, in his speech, talked about various schemes taken by the government for entrepreneurship and skill development. The minister said that preferences would be given to the local unemployed youths while implementing the schemes. Speaking on the occasion, Gauhati University Vice Chancellor Mridul Hazarika called upon the students to think out of the box and be enthusiastic. The programme was attended, among others, by GU Registrar Suresh Kumar th, Professor Mab Deka, Jogen Kalita, Akhil Ranjan Dutta and nigopal Mahanta.
