Guess marks for question out of HSLC syllabus: SMSS

By our Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, March 31: The Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti (SMSS) has demanded of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) to give credit (seven marks) as guess marks against Social Studies questions in HSLC examitions as some questions with a total credit of seven marks were set from outside the HSLC syllabus. Demanding error-free HSLC results, SMSS submitted a memorandum to SEBA secretary Kamal Jyoti Gogoi today. “The very questions were in the HSLC curriculum for 2015. However, they were deleted in the curriculum meant for 2016,” the SMSS leaders said. The SEBA secretary assured them of taking a decision in that regard soon.
