GUWAHATI, Feb 10:  Visitors at Assam State Zoo can now avail guide facility. The idea is the brainchild of DFO Tejas Mariswamy. Mariswamy said: “The main aim of the initiative is to create environmental awareness about wildlife conservation and its importance to sustain a healthy ecosystem.” The guides will not only help tourists in taking tour of the zoo. They will help and explain the biodiversity inside the zoo. The rates to be charged are different, depending on group size. A group of five members will be charged 150.
