GUWAHATI, March 29: Pratik Singh Saud, son of Ratan Saud and Kanmoni Saud of Kahikuchi on the outskirts of Guwahati, has been selected into Yale Young Global Scholars 2017, an official Yale University programme, to be held in New Haven, Connecticut, New York, USA from June 19 to July 2, 2017. Pratik is a student of Srimanta Shankar Academy, Guwahati. The selection has a scholarship of US $ 5,000. Saud has been selected in the Frontier of Science and Mathematics Session. Each session comprises about 200 students from all over the world and the session of Frontier of Science and Mathematics has students from 150 countries and all 50 US states. Around four Indian students get into such a session per year.
