Gyanjyoti 2017 opened

GUWAHATI, Nov 08: In order to enlighten students of the state with knowledge, Chief Minister’s Gyanjyoti programme 2017 was iugurated by State Additiol Chief Secretary, Transformation and Planning, Cultural & Fince Department VB Pyarallel at Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra on Wednesday.
DGP Mukesh Sahay, Guwahati Commissioner of Police Hiren th, Cultural and Education Commissioner-Secretary Preetam Saikia, Kamrup(M) Deputy Commissioner M Angamuthu and Additiol Commissioner of GMC Digen Singh were present at the function. Angamuthu welcomed the 1,049 participating students and 250 officials accompanying them. This five-day programme going to conclude on November 11 includes sightseeing for educatiol and cultural knowledge within Guwahati, along with cultural activities like inter-district sport, dance, competition, essay writing, quiz, debate and the like.
