Hackathon 2018: College  from MP emerges winner

GUWAHATI, April 1: After 36 hours non-stop coding competition, Team Tech Aces from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Madhya Pradesh emerged as the winner. Team Ciphers from Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Madhya Pradesh and Team UVPCE01 from UV Patel College of Engineering, Gujarat emerged as the first runners-up and the second runners-up respectively.

The valedictory ceremony of the two-day software edition of Smart India Hackathon 2018 was held at the Girijanda Chowdhury Institute of Magement and Technology, nodal centre at 8 pm on March 31, 2018. Smart India Hackathon is a digital product development competition which has challenged the students to think creatively and offer innovative ideas for solving major real time problems in the country.

Speaking as the chief guest, Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Tea Tribes Welfare, Revenue and Disaster Magement Pallab Lochan Das said: “For Digital India and for Digital Literacy Smart India Hackathon is organized. Students play a vital role in the tion building process. It is praiseworthy that today’s young generation is contributing towards society by solving government's problems.”
