Guwahati, March 15: In the matter of the Rs 2.5 crore PNB scam, the Bureau of Investigation of Economic Offence (BIEO) arrested Phanidhar Taukdar on March 6. Talukdar is the MD of Messers Sky Scrapper Real Estate Pvt Ltd and is presently in judicial custody. Meanwhile, Talukdar has filed a bail petition before the Gauhati High Court and the same was taken up for hearing by the High Court today. The court has called for the case diary from the BIEO and has directed the organization to submit the same on March 26, which has been fixed as the next date of hearing of the bail petition.
