Health camp by 33rd ITBPF Bn
GUWAHATI, Oct 14: As part of its continued endeavour towards healthcare in rural Assam, a medical camp was organized by 33rd Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) Battalion, Guwahati under its civic action programme (CAP) on Friday at village Jugdal under the Sopur Circle in Kamrup(M).
The camp was iugurated by RS Chandel, Commandant in the presence of T Sanjeet Singh, Second-in-Command, 33rd Battalion, ITBPF, a press release said.
Dr. Chandan Debth, CMO (SG) and Dr. Geetmoni Deka, GDMO attended to all the patients requiring medical care. The camp was attended by 67 males, 64 females and 48 children from different villages of Sopur Circle. Dr Chandan Debth also delivered a lecture to the villagers about causes and prevention of water-borne diseases.
