HYCP appeals for boycott of chinese products

GUWAHATI, Sept 25: The Hindu Yuva Chhatra Parishad (HYCP) appealed to the people of the state to boycott chinese products as the country has reiterated to extend support to Pakistan even when the entire world is contemplating fincial blockade against the country.  In a statement issued to the media, HYCP President Balen Baishya and General Secretary Dipankar Gohain stated that the true ture of Chi has come to the fore after extending their support to Pakistan.  “At a time when the entire world is criticizing Pakistan for harbouring terrorism and for the Uri attack, Chi has declared support for Pakistan. This act of Chi exposes their true ture,” Baishya said in the release.  He further said that it is not possible for the people of Assam to take up arms to fight Chi. “But we can weaken the Chinese economy by boycotting their products,” he remarked.  The HYCP also appealed to the business community to shun selling of Chinese products. “Such an act will harm Chi as it will hamper their economy,” the release stated.
