IIE trains NE youth for Adventure Tourism

GUWAHATI, Jan 4: Looking at the immense scope for adventure tourism in the diversified geography of the Northeast luring tourists, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) is training youth from the entire region to start adventure tourism in the region. The training for adventure tourism kicked off on Wednesday. The 90 participants were divided into three groups. This is the second phase of the training which has 31 participants enrolled. Training for adventure activities like trekking, night camping, jip lining and the like are being imparted to the participants. Experts from relevant fields are being invited for theory and practical training.
