Inclusive painting project for Special Olympics held

GUWAHATI, Oct 1: Inclusive Painting Project for Special Olympics Bharat, Assam Chapter was held at Circuit House in Guwahati yesterday. South Kamrup Deputy Commissioner Rajiv P Baruah marked his contribution to an inclusive society by completing a piece of art that also had the participation of renowned artist Meghali Deka and athlete Partha Sarathi Sinha. The event was attended, among others, by committee members of Special Olympics Bharat, Assam chapter.

Inclusion Painting Project, initiated by Special Olympics Bharat, Assam Chapter is a unique initiative which features pieces of art created through collaboration between a Special Olympic athlete, a well known artist and a high-profile politician or government leader. The pieces of art will be displayed at exhibits at the United tions in New York City and in Graz in Austria leading up to the World Winter Games 2017 to be held in March.
